Trading Card Brand

This was a personal brand of trading cards. It is based on my history of creating sketched illustrations on index cards which appear as if they were trading cards. I saw this as an opportunity for trading cards to provide the chance of world building through visuals while also being engaging and interactive for users and collector markets.

Process sketches

The process was focused each card's subject matter on my personal brand's worldbuilding. In the process, I sketched each of the figures in dark silhouettes with backgrounds with gradients and color theory to convey the art of the 1930s and 40s and the power of each element of each card.

Social MockUps

Here I've mocked it up on a social media post to visualize how I would market these trading cards. I understood that social media can be a global platform that can attract people to the card designs and community of this personal brand.
