Book Cover Illustration

Here, I experimented with creating a book cover for Isaac Asimov's "i,robot". While I was browsing shelves in Barnes and Norbes, I found a cover of the book. I thought that it needed a more graphical cover that would catch the reader's eye based on the one that I've seen.

Process

During the process of Isaac Asimov's book, I focused on stories that best revolved around the philosophical themes within the book. The one that stood out to me the most was the story of a robot that believed itself to be a prophet which brought the idea of machines having a spiritual or divinity of their existence. When developing the finalization of the cover, I was inspired by Jim Tierney's vector and graphical book covers to approach this depiction of machine spiritualism.
